JALAPEÑO PORK POPPERS

Jalapeno Pork Poppers

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 fresh jalapeños 

  • 8oz cream cheese

  • 1lb. pork sausage

  • 1lb. thin cut bacon

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the recteq® to 275ºF.

  2. Core jalapeños and cut in half lengthwise, then set aside.

  3. Brown sausage and let cool. 

  4. Mix sausage with cream cheese.

  5. Stuff mixture into jalapeño.

  6. Wrap bacon around jalapeño and secure with a toothpick.

  7. Place on a grill mat and grill for 1.5 hours.

 

Note: The cooking temp. and time depends on how you like your bacon. Try this recipe with 1 tbsp Ron's Screamin' Pig dusted over the bacon.
